Chinese tech giant Vivo has finally launched the V17 smartphone in India at Rs. 22,990.
The key features of the Vivo V17 a punch-hole design, 48MP quad rear cameras, 32MP camera for handling selfies and mid-level internals include a Snapdragon 675 processor.
Note: The V17 India-specific model is different designs and specifications compared to the Russia launched model.
Vivo V17: Design and display
The Vivo V17 accompanies a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Besides, it has an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Dissimilar to the V17 model (launched in Russia) which offers a waterdrop notched presentation and diamond-shaped camera unit.
Vivo V17 houses a quad rear camera setup
The quad back camera setup Vivo V17 includes a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, combined with an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera, and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.
On the front, it has a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper. The selfie camera additionally supports 1080p video recording @30fps.
Vivo V17 is a mid-level internals handset
Under the hood, the Vivo V17 controlled by a Snapdragon 675 Octa-core processor matched with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage and a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Out-of-the-box, the handset runs Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.2 and packs all the connectivity options including dual nano-SIM, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Vivo V17: Price in India
The Vivo V17 is priced at Rs. 22,990 for solo 8GB/128GB configuration. The sale will start for grabs via Amazon, Flipkart, and offline outlets starting December 17.
