Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone was until now known as the Galaxy Fold 2, will be officially marketed as the ‘Galaxy Bloom‘. As per the AJUnews portal showcased the device for the selection of partners and revealed that it will be called the Galaxy Bloom at a secret meeting held at the CES 2020.
Further, the South Korea-based company also shared an image and reveling that the upcoming foldable phone with the new ‘Bloom’ name. As seen on the image the Galaxy Bloom will hold Moto RAZR-like clamshell design.
Further, Samsung is also working on its Galaxy S20 flagship models.
Galaxy Bloom: Design
According to the report, the Galaxy Bloom is inspired by Lancome’s compact cases. In folding, it is accounted for to be unpleasant of a similar size as a powder compact.
Also, the handset will carry an Infiniti-O style flexible display, a dual-lens rear camera setup with a 108MP primary sensor and a top-level internal with 5G network, reported to have 8K video recording capabilities.
Samsung will also offer Galaxy S20 series
Samsung also confirmed on the same meeting that the successor to Galaxy S10 will land as Galaxy S20 and not Galaxy S11. The S20 series will have three models – Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and top-level S20 Ultra model.
Galaxy Bloom and Galaxy S20 series: Launch details
Samsung Galaxy S20-Series and Galaxy Bloom are set to launch early February. However, an official teaser suggests that all models will be launch at a San Francisco-based “unpacked” event on February 11.
Regarding price, The Galaxy Bloom will cost around $1,500 and the Galaxy S20 series will offer at a starting price $999.
