Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra to offer a 108MP main sensor
As per tipster “Ice Universe” and Weibo revealed by SumahoInfo that a 108MP S5KHM1 primary camera sensor will be included in the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. It looks like a custom version of an existing 108MP sensor from the company that was featured on the Mi Note 10.
Further, the Galaxy S20 Ultra also features a 44MP ISOCELL Slim image sensor, as well as a Tetra cell filter and a pixel size of 0.7 microns. There is also a telephoto lens and a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 sensor with a 0.8-micron pixel size. It is also said that the phone has a Sony IMX 518 which acts as a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 to come with 12MP primary sensor
Apart from this, the tipster added that the Samsung Galaxy S20+ will include 12MP (Sony IMX555) primary sensor along with 1.8-micron pixel size, an S5KGW2 sensor with a telephoto lens, and also a 12MP S5K2LA sensor. Moreover, there will available a Sony IMX516 sensor that would be performing as a ToF sensor.
Just like the Galaxy S20 +, the Samsung Galaxy S20 to include the same sensors, However, it does not have a TOF sensor.
What Samsung the Galaxy S20 Ultra will offer
In addition to the details of the cameras leaked, South Korean publication The Elect suggests that Samsung is collecting prisms for the Galaxy S20 Ultra from Optronics and Acro. The Galaxy S20 Ultra will hold 5x optical zoom, this supports the initial reports but contrary to a portion of recent rumors that indicate a 10x optical zoom.
