Huawei Mate Xs launched in China at €2,499 as the spin-off of the last year Huawei Mate X 5G. This second foldable includes an updated four-layer screen, a redesigned “falcon wing” hinge, flagship internals along with 5G connectivity.
The Huawei Mate Xs will be available in some global markets.
Huawei Mate Xs: Design and display
the Mate X is essentially the same as Mate X featuring out-folding design a metal frame and a holdable “wing” that has a fingerprint sensor and quad-lens camera set up.
In addition, the foldable phone has an updated hinge structure, an overhauled four-layer screen, and an adaptable bionic graphite cooling system.
Just like previous Mate X this phone also comes with an 8-inch AMOLED display featuring 2480×2200 pixels resolution when folded, so you get a 6.6-inch (2480×1148 pixel) front display and a 6.38-inch (2480×892 pixel) rear display.
For an enhanced multi-tasking experience, the phone offers a multi-window function that separates the 8-inch main screen into two.
It gets an in-house 5G processor
The Mate Xs energized by a Kirin 990 processor with 5G connectivity, it has 8GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The foldable runs Android 10 with EMUI 10 UI. Sadly, you cannot Google Play Store and other services provided by Google.
Huawei offering dual batteries on this phone and supports 55W SuperCharge technology to offer a 4,500 mAh integrated battery.
The Huawei Mate Xs brings a LEICA quad rear camera
The Mate Xs comes with a LEICA quad rear camera setup with a 40MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 16MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP (f/2.4, OIS) telephoto sensor also a ToF 3D sensor.
For handling selfies, the rear camera becomes double as the front camera when the phone is folded.
Huawei Mate Xs: Price and availability option
In Europe, the Mate Xs is priced at €2,499 for the single 8GB/512GB variant and sale will in March. The foldable will release on the outside market in China. However, there is no official information about its India availability.
