Honor 30S with 40W fast charging, coming on March 30


Honor is planning to bring a new premium smartphone later this month, known as Honor 30S. Recently, confirmed by the Huawei sub-brand on Weibo. According to the company, the Honor 9A will also launch alongside the Honor 30S. As per revealed, the smartphone will arrive with a punch-hole style design, support 40W wired fast charging, a quad-lens rear camera, and carry mid-range internals.

However, it has not yet confirmed by the company whether the new smartphone will be launched in India.

Except for the latest Weibo, the render of the leaked press suggests that the Honor 30S will feature a punch-hole design with an edge-to-edge screen. At the top left corner of the panel, there will be a small display cut-out for the selfie camera and should offer a bottom bezel. The phone will carry an LCD display.

The recent report suggested that there will be a rectangular-shaped rear camera module and an LED flash that sits top right side of the camera setup.

The device will sport a 64MP main camera

The camera setup will include a 64MP primary sensor and a telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom capabilities. But, the post didn’t mention the other two sensors’ details and also the front camera.

Honor 30S: Processor and spaces

It is expected that the upcoming Honor phone will be powered by the Kirin 820 chipset with 5G connectivity. As for spaces, the phone expected to have up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage.

Further, it is reported that the device will offer 40W wired fast charging. However, battery detail not found in the post. For unlocking, there will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

We Hope, the smartphone should include VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a Type-C port for fast-charging.

Price and launch date

The company has not revealed any pricing details of this phone and it is set to launch in China on March 30.
