Honor Play 9A has been launched in China with two storage variants. Besides, the budget smartphone comes with a waterdrop notch style, a dual rear camera setup including a single selfie shooter. The smartphone shows off a huge 5,000mAh battery that promises three days of life.
The phone available in Night Black, Blue Water Emerald, and Jasper Green color options with the starting piece CNY 899.
Honor Play 9A: Design and display
The new Honor phone retains a sleek design with a waterdrop notch display style. It has a dual rear camera system on the back and gets a physical fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone brings a 6.3-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) resolution display that gets 278 PPI.
It includes a 13MP main shooter
As for the camera, the dual rear camera setup Honor Play 9A featuring a 13MP (f/1.8) primary camera coupled with a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Besides, it also provides an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter on the front.
Honor Play 9A: Internals and spaces
This phone powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor that paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. Both storage variants can be expanded up to 512HN with a microSD card.
In terms of software, it runs Android with Magic UI 3.0.1 and received a solid 5,000mAh battery that comes with up to three days backup on a single charge. It is a 10W charging supported phone and you get a 5V/2A charger inside the box.
Connectivity options include in this handset such as dual-SIM (Nano), Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, a Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack also.

The handset comes with the starting price of CNY 899 for the 4GB/64GB variant whereas the 4GB/128GB available at CNY 1,199. As for availability, it took place pre-sale on March 30 and the pre-orders will certainly continue till April 6, 11:30 pm (April 7, 10 am IST).
