Oppo Reno Ace 2 the upcoming flagship has been spotted on the certification website TENAA. According to the list, the Oppo new phone will come with the model number PDHM00. Besides, the phone’s image shows that it will retain a punch-hole design and hints 5G support and 65W fast charging technology. On the rear, it will offer an Oreo-shaped quad-camera setup.
Oppo Reno Ace 2: Design
According to the listing, the Reno Ace 2 has a punch-hole display design with an edge-to-edge panel and on the top left corner of the screen will be a display cutout for the front camera. It is tipped to come with an Oreo-shaped camera module on the rear side along with the LED flash which is the same setup that we can see on the OnePlus 7T.
It also suggests that the new phone will arrive with a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen that offers Full-HD+ resolution.
The device gets a 48MP main lens
The quad-camera of this phone will include a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP depth sensor. Also, there will be a 16MP camera for selfies and video calling.
Reno Ace 2 will be powered by a top-tier internals
The smartphone will have a flagship Octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor with 5G connectivity. The chipset will be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage.
The Oppo phone will run on Android 10 with ColorOS 7 out-of-the-box and provide a 4,000mAh battery that supports 65W wired and 40W wireless fast-charging.
The smartphone also spotted on the Wi-Fi alliance certification site and shows it will support Wi-Fi 6 (2.4GHz and 5GHz).
Price and launch date
Right now, there is no official announcement or respected leaks revealed the price details of the new phone. Earlier this week, Brian Shen (Oppo VP) posted on Weibo that the Reno Ace 2 phone launching sometime in April.
