Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6 has launched in India by the Chinese tech giant Realme. The Realme 6 Pro starts at Rs. 16,999 and the standard Realme 6 costs Rs. 12,999. Both smartphone models offer punch-hole style design, a quad rear camera setup. Internally, the 6 Pro model gets the Snapdragon 720G processor and the Realme 6 packs with a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset.
Two models will be available for purchase starting on March 13.
Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6: Design and display
Both Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6 come with the punch-hole display design and the 6 Pro model featuring a dual selfie camera while Realme 6 offers a single front camera. On the backside, they have a vertical shaped quad rear camera setup including an LED flash and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Pro model sports a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Ultra Smooth display featuring 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. Also, you get a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Then the standard Realme 6 retains a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution, 90Hz Ultra Smooth display, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio and it also gets a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Both smartphones internals
The 6 Pro model powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of onboard storage, expandable up to 256GB through a dedicated slot. The Realme 6 controlled by the MediaTek Helio G90T chipset paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB of LPDDR4x quad-channel RAM and 64GB/128GB of in-built storage, and same expandable capacity like 6 Pro.
Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6: Battery
Both handsets pack with 4,300mAh battery with the support of 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging technology for Realme 6 Pro, while the standard model supports 30W Flash Charge tech. They run Android 10 with Realme UI.
Connectivity options and sensors of the Phones
Connectivity options include dual Nano-SIM, VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Both models offer sensors onboard an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
Further, the 6 Pro supports Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Sound Quality and featuring a water-resistant design.
The smartphones retain a quad rear camera setup
On the back, they house a quad rear camera setup, the Realme 6 Pro houses a 64MP (f/1.8) Samsung GW1 primary sensor, an 8 (f/2.3) ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 12MP (f/2.5) telephoto shooter, and a 2MP macro sensor. Further, it supports 4K video recording @30fps and sports 20x hybrid zoom.
The 6 Pro provides a dual hole-punch selfie camera setup including 16MP (f/2.0) Sony IMX471 primary sensor and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens that has 105 degrees FoV.
The standard model also gets a 64MP (f/1.8) Samsung GW1 primary sensor, an 8 (f/2.3) ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) lens for portrait shots and another 2MP macro lens.
This phone has a single 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with the support of HDR, Portrait Mode, Timelapse, Panoramic View, AI Beauty, and Bokeh Effect.
Price and launch offers
The Realme 6 Pro starts in India at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant and Rs. 17,999 for 6GB/128GB model while the 8GB/128GB configuration has been set at Rs. 18,999.
The Realme 6 price starts at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB/64GB model Rs. 14,999 for 6GB/64GB and the top-end model 8GB/128GB priced at Rs. 15,999.
The sale will go on in India from March 11 at 12 pm (noon) IST.
As for launch offers, the 6 Pro model will be available with an Rs. 1,000 instant discount for Axis Bank customers via Flipkart.
