Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi finally announced its Redmi K30 Pro alongside the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition in China. The K30 Pro provides three storage variants, while the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition arrived with two storage variants. Both devices retain an AMOLED display, on the back they have a 64MP main camera and a pop-up selfie camera and two phones powered by flagship internals.
Both models available in Moonlight White, Sky Blue, Star Ring Purple, and Space Gray color options.
Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom Edition: Display
Design-wise, both handsets come with a notch-less full view display along with a pop-up selfie camera module. On the rear, they equipped with circular-shaped quad rear cameras setup and an LED flash positioned under the camera. For unlock, they have an under-display fingerprint sensor.
They offer a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400) HDR10+ AMOLED display with 1,200 nits and 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
Both phones have a 64MP main camera
As of optics, they equipped with a quad rear camera system, the K30 Pro model headlined by the 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor supported by OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and assisted by a 5MP macro lens, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 123-degree FoV and a 2MP depth camera.
Similarly, the K30 Pro Zoom Edition offers a 2MP depth sensor, a 13MP wide-angle lens. But, it switches the macro camera in favor of an 8MP telephoto lens that comes with 3X optical zoom and 30X digital zoom.
For handling selfies and video calling they received a 20MP pop-up front-facing camera.

Under the hood, the two devices by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship processor and for spaces the K30 Pro model provides 6GB/8GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. However, the 6GB/128GB model comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.
Other hand, the K30 Pro Zoom Edition carries 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB built-in UFS 3.1 storage. Sadly, they don’t have an expandable capacity.
In terms of software, they run Android 10 with MIUI 11 custom skin and include a strong 4,700mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Connectivity options include in these phones such as they support dual-SIM (Nano), dual-mode 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Both phones prices and sale in China
The Redmi K30 Pro costs at CNY 2,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant, whereas 8GB/128GB comes with the price tag of CNY 3,399 and the top-tier model 8GB/256GB available at CNY 3,699.
The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition comes with starting price of CNY 3,799 for the 8GB/128GB variant and the 8GB/256GB configuration carries the price CNY 3,999.
Finally, they will be available for sale starting March 27 in China via mi.com. The company yet not declared any word on international availability.
