Vivo finally announced its Vivo Nex 3S 5G in China which is an upgraded version of the last year’s Vivo Nex 3 smartphone. The new Vivo Nex 3S 5G offers the design of its predecessor but comes with some significant upgrades.
The 5G phone retains a waterfall AMOLED display, a triple rear camera with a pop-up selfie shooter, it has a powerful 4,500mAh battery and flagship internals with 5G connectivity.
Vivo Nex 3S 5G comes with waterfall display
This new Vivo phone offers a notch-less AMOLED waterfall display design with a pop-up selfie camera. On the back, it has a round-shaped triple rear camera setup with LED flash and there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
It gets a trio of color options – Sky Blue, Black, and Orange.
The 5G phone retains a 6.89-inch HDR10+ full-HD+ (1,080×2,256 pixels) resolution display with 18.8:9 aspect ratio and even a 99.6% screen-to-body ratio.
The Vivo phone provides a flagship internals
The handset powered by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 5G connectivity and paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB faster UFS 3.1 storage without expansion capacity.
Moreover, the smartphone keeps run Android 10 with the in-house Funtouch OS 10 custom skin and equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 44W ultra flash charge technology.
Connectivity options and onboard sensors
Connectivity options include such as dual-SIM (Nano), 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-frequency GPS, GLONASS, Type-C port and it has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
This Vivo phone equipped with onboard sensors like – an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, proximity sensor, and an ambient light sensor.
Vivo Nex 3S 5G: Camera setup
The imaging hardware of the smartphone includes a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 64MP (f/1.8) main sensor, a 13MP wide-angle camera and another 13MP telephoto lens that supports up to 20x digital zoom.
For selfies and video calling there is a 16MP (f/2.0) pop-up selfie camera with its own LED flash.
Vivo Nex 3S 5G: Price and sale details
The premium handset comes with the starting price of CNY 4,998 for 8GB/256 and goes up to CNY 5,298 for the 12GB/256 variant. Further, the phone will available for sale on March 14 via the company’s China website.
