Apple debuted iPhone SE (2020), the new affordable iPhone offers the same 4.7-inch display size like iPhone 8, launch in 2017 and previous regular iPhone models. This iPhone SE (2020) model comes with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and is powered by the Apple A13 Bionic chipset that is available on the flagship iPhone 11 series. The rear side of the phone houses a single camera as well as a single selfie shooter also. As for storages, it provides three storage options and retains Black, White and Red color options.
The iPhone SE (2020) was originally reported to debut as the Apple iPhone SE 2 and also later on reported as the iPhone 9.

By design, the iPhone SE (2020) is similar to the iPhone 8, as the successor to the iPhone 7. Apple introduced this iPhone with a traditional square display design with a front-facing camera that has no notch. It built with an aerospace-grade aluminum body as well as resilient glass. The new second-generation iPhone includes an IP67 rating for dust and also water resistance that survive up to 1 meter of water for as much as thirty minutes.
On the back, the phone has a single rear camera along with an LED flash. It also offers a Touch ID button as for fingerprint sensor.
The display comes with a 4.7-inch Retina HD (750×1334 pixels) resolution IPS LCD with a True Tone tech feature for adjusting the white balance. The screen also features a peak brightness of 625 nits with the support of Dolby Vision and HDR10 and also supports Haptic Touch.
Apple provides an improved 12MP (f/1.8), OIS camera along a True Tone LED flash including Slow Sync on the rear of the new iPhone SE (2020) model. The camera supports Smart HDR, portrait mode, and can record 4K video recording @60fps, to protect the camera it comes with a sapphire crystal lens. Besides, it has a 7MP (f/2.2) selfie shooter on the front.
Apple iPhone SE: Performance
Under the hood, the iPhone SE powered by the Apple A13 Bionic chipset, paired with 64GB/128GB/256GB of in-built storage. The chipset can able to handle daily tasks while providing upgraded photography, gaming experiences. The RAM details yet not announced by the company.
Out-of-the-box it runs iOS 13. However, battery size details also still unknown, according to Apple, it supports Qi wireless charging with 18W fast-charging and takes only 30 minutes for 50% charge.
Connectivity options are available 4G, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Wi-Fi calling, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, a Lightning port, and supports Face ID. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price and availability details
The iPhone SE (2020) price starts at Rs. 42,500 for the 64GB variant, Rs. 47,800 for 128GB storage and 256GB configuration comes with the price tag of Rs. 58,300. However, availability in India yet not revealed.
In the US, the phone price set at $399 for the 64GB variant, the 128GB model available at $499, whereas the 256GB storage cost is $549. The Pre-orders start from 5 pm PDT on April 17 and it will be available for sale on April 24.
