Microsoft Surface earbuds True wireless earphones were first announced by Microsoft in 2019 and launched with a price tag of 9 249. Although initially slated for sale in December, Microsoft quickly announced that they were not positive about the product providing the best possible experience, and the launch was postponed until the spring of 2020. But a new report recently suggested that the Surface earbuds will go on sale on May 6th.
What we know about Microsoft Surface Earbuds
The Surface Earbuds can translate audio into 60 different languages and also able to record your voice and upload it to the cloud. Apart from this the earbuds also have a few more features; it comes with a responsive touch surface so that you can make phone calls, skip tracks, and adjust the volume of the music.
To protect them against splash and sweat, Microsoft will provide IPX4 rated water-resistant. Further, they will be SBC and aptX audio codecs supported.
The earbuds have Spotify integration with Android smartphones so you can tap yourself to start playing music, Without using your smartphone. Furthermore, Microsoft suggests that the Swift Pair feature can pair and connect easily.
Additionally, there is a combination of software built into earphones as well as Microsoft apps, where Outlook and Office 365 are integrated into product features in particular.
In terms of battery, it can deliver 8 hours of battery life and a total of 24 hours with an extra charge from the carrying case.
Expected price and sale date
As per the new report, the Microsoft Surface Earbuds will be available at EUR 199 which is less than US price. Further, the report also claims that it will go on sale on May 6 and Europe will be the first region to see the introduction of new, truly wireless earphones.
