AMD has officially announced two new gaming-centric CPUs in India, called AMD Ryzen 3 3100 and the Ryzen 3 3300X. Both CPUs are four-core eight-thread and based on the Zen-2 architecture. AMD added individual configuration in these two new CPUs for faster performances. To recall, Intel also launched its 10th ‘Comet Lake-H’ CPUs in earlier April this year.
They will be available in India from mid-May.
Here is the difference between the two CPUs
The Ryzen 3 3100 comes with 2 CCXs with two cores on each CCX as well as it utilizes 2 + 2 configuration. On the other hand, the 3300X model uses the same CCX with 4 + 0 configuration.
Because of this, the 16MB L3 cache of the Ryzen 3 3300X has a single block and it reduces the latency between the two cores, and the L3 cache of the Ryzen 3 3100 is split in half. Whereas the Ryzen 3 3300X offers lower core latency with and higher cache memory shows higher single-core performance also, which will aid in tasks like gaming.
Raizen 3 3300 X and Raizen 3 3100: Features
AMD provides a 3.9GHz of base clock speed in this GPU along with a boost clock speed of 4.3GHz, it has 16MB of total L3 cache. It comes somewhat higher clock speeds and more functionality than the Raizen 3 3100.
By default, it includes 65W of TDP and supports PCIe 4.0 Express Lanes that helps faster data transmission and graphics processors. The GPU comes with Wright Stealth Cooler for enough to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
Coming to the Ryzen 3 3100, this one is also powered by a Quad-core processor with a base clock speed of 3.6GHz and gets a boost clock speed of 3.9GHz which is quite lower than the Raizen 3 3300X model. However, it also provides a total L3 cache of 16MB.
Price and availability details
In India, the Ryzen 3 3100 comes with the price tag of Rs. 7,290 while the Ryzen 3 3300 cost is Rs. 9,490 and they will be available for purchase across the country from mid-May. You can set the notification for the release date via AMD official website.
Note: Price of the both CPUs is not included GST (Goods and Service Tax).
