Realme 3 and 3i Android 10 with Realme UI update – Download and install


Realme 3 and 3i have started rolling out Android 10 with a Realme UI update (RMX1821EX_11.C.09). Realme already published on the official community site. The new update includes lots of new features such as Smart Sidebar, Navigation Gestures 3.0 with new landscape mode, Optimized 3-Finger Screenshot Gesture, new Homescreen, improved camera performance, security, and more. To recall both 3 series were debuted last year.

New update features

The new update comes with the same kind of features for both phones including a new Real Design interface for more attractive and efficient. The Smart Sidebar has been adapted with ‘Assistive Ball Opacity’ and ‘Hide Assistive Ball on Fullscreen App’. Further, you get a floating window feature for more apps with this Smart Sidebar and added bubble animations.

Realme also included an optimized 3-Finger Screenshot Gesture and Navigation Gestures 3.0 for landscape mode. The new Simple Mode feature for Homescreen offers larger fonts, icons as well as clearer layout.

How to download and install

In order to do download the Android 10 based Realme UI update, Version: RMX1821EX_11.C.09, you need to go your phone Settings > System updates. Then hit the Download and Install option. The file size is 213MB.

If you have not received an update notification, then you can check by yourself in your phone setting.

Meanwhile, Realm 3 and 3i are being recalled here

Both smartphones are almost identically the same design featuring a waterdrop notch style with a single front shooter, they retain slim bezels. Come to the display size, two phones launched with the same 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) LCD screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio, and the screen is protected by the Gorilla Glass 3.

Rear sides of both phones are gradient-finished with a plastic body and they get dual cameras including a 13MP (f/1.8) main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Besides, they offer a 13MP (f/2.0) shooter on the front for handling selfies and making video calls.

The difference between the two phones is the processor, the Realme 3 model is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 whereas the 3i included an Helio p60 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM up to 64GB of storage with expandable capacity via microSD. Both handsets pack with a 4,230mAh battery with a 10W charger.
