Huawei introduced its Huawei P40 Lite 5G smartphone in Europe. The latest phone retains a single punch-hole design with the single selfie shooter, it comes with four rear cameras and an Octa-core 5G processor. Inside the smartphone has a 4,000mAh battery that supports SuperCharge fast charging as well as offers a single storage option. It is available in Europe with Midnight Black, Space Silver, and Crush Green color options.
Note: the P40 Lite 5G is different from the Huawei P40 Lite model, unveiled earlier.
Huawei P40 Lite 5G: Design and display
The phone arrives with a punch-hole design top left corner of the panel along with a single front camera. On the rear side of the smartphone houses a quad-camera system with the LED flash. It is featuring a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) resolution LCD display. For unlocking, it made with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The rear camera setup includes a 64MP main sensor
The quad rear camera setup features a 64MP (f/1.8) main sensor paired with an 8MP ( f/2.4) ultra-wide camera, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. There is a 16MP (f/2.0) front-facing shooter inside the punch-hole for selfies and video calling.
The phone performs with an Octa-core 5G processor
Huawei uses a Kirin 820 Octa-core processor with 5G connectivity, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with expandable capacity up to 256GB. It runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 UI and provides power by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W SuperCharge fast charging tech.
Connectivity options headlined with dual-SIM (Nano), 5G SA/NSA, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 5G phone is 162.31×75.0x8.58mm and weighs 189 grams.
