Mi 10 5G launched in India with 108MP main sensor, SD 865 processor

Mi 10 5G smartphone has officially launched in India by Xiaomi. The premium phone has a punch-hole design with an AMOLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Mi 10 5G phone brings a quad rear camera setup as well as a single front-facing camera. It includes top-of-the-line Qualcomm internals with two storage variants and .also two color options: Coral Green and Twilight Grey.

Xiaomi uses a punch-hole style in this premium phone which the company called DotDisplay display design, the cutout locates the top left corner of the panel. The phone includes a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) 3D curved E3 AMOLED display featuring a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate as well as a 180Hz touch-sampling rate for smooth scrolling. It also added 1,120 nits peak brightness and has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

On the rear side of the smartphone houses four vertical shaped cameras along with an LED flash.

The camera setup of this phone

Camera setup included a big 108MP primary image sensor that has a seven-piece lens with optical image stabilization (OIS), in addition, there is a 13MP (f/2.4) wide-angle lens with 123-degree field of view (FoV), and a pair of 2MP (f/2.4) lenses. Along with this setup, it also offers a 20MP Micro DotDisplay selfie camera.

Xiaomi also added an AI 2.0 backed software) for correct exposure, color, brightness and noise to enhance images. Moreover, the camera app has a Pro Mode featuring Focus Picking, Exposure Verification, LOG Mode, and support HEIF.

It carries a flagship processor

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 non-expandable storage. For thermal management, it comes with a LiquidCool 2.0 Vapor Chamber with a six stack graphite layer as well as a graphene surface area.

The 5G phone runs Android with MIUI 11 and gets a 4,780mAh battery with the support of 30W fast wired and wireless charging as well as 10W reverse wireless charging. As far as connectivity options, it supports dual-SIM (Nano), 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, GPS, AGPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Finally, the smartphone is 162.60×74.80×8.96mm in size and weighs 208 grams.

Price and launch offers

In India, the Mi 10 starts at Rs. 49,999 for the 128GB storage model whereas the 256GB configuration cost is Rs. 54,999. It is available via pre-orders basis on Amazon India and Mi.com. Xiaomi said it should be available through Mi partner offline retail channels soon.

As for launch offers, there is up to Rs. 3,000 if transactions made via HDFC Bank cards. On pre-ordering the new phone customer will also get 10000mAh Mi Wireless Power Bank which worth Rs. 2,499. Moreover, no-cost EMI options are also available for both online or offline purchases.
