Xiaomi Mi Band 5 fitness tracker will launch on June 11


After the successor of Mi Smart Band 4, the tech giant Xiaomi going to bring its Mi Band 5 that will launch on June 11, announced via Weibo. According to some reports, the next-generation fitness tracker will include a large AMOLED display and support Amazon Alexa voice assistant and NFC. However, the company has not yet been revealed the original specifications and the pricing details of the upcoming Mi band.

Mi Band 5: Expected features

As per reports, the Mi Band 5 will retain a large 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen color display with a multi-color rubber band. The new wearable device is suggested to bring 5 Personal Activity Detective (PAI) functions for heart rate monitoring which informs you on the level of activity desired to stay healthy.

According to rumor, this fitness band will provide 5 new sports modes, those are indoor cycling, yoga, skipping rope, elliptical machine, and rowing machine,

The new band also touted to come with a SpO2 sensor that will help the users to measure the saturation of oxygen in the blood. Further, the Xiaomi fitness tracker is capable for support Amazon Alexa as well as NFC chip. However, Xiaomi probably won’t add the GPS to it.

As indicated by a previous report that the device will bring a new charger that complained about a new “plug-in” type design and expected to come with long day battery life also.

Xiaomi announced the launch date of the next-generation fitness band that is June 11. However, the Weibo post didn’t mention the price details of the new Mi Band 5. To recall, the Mi band 4 known as Mi Smart Band 4 was launched in India this year with the price of Rs. 2,299. We can hope the upcoming band could come around this piece range.
