Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom smartphones have launched in India The latest phones from Realme come with punch-hole design and provides 120Hz refresh tare, dual punch-hole cameras along with a quad rear camera unit. They are powered by the Qualcomm processor. The main difference between the two phones is that the Realme X3 SuperZoom model has a periscope-style lens with 5x optical zoom, the Realme X3 on the other hand gets a telephoto lens that supports 2x optical zoom.
Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom: Design and display
As described both smartphones retain punch-hole style with the dual selfie camera On the rear they sport the same quad-camera system with an LED flash. For security, both offer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Two models also come with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display with 120Hz refresh tare including 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The x3 model is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Two handsets camera sensors details
The Realme X3 variant includes a 64MP (f/1.8) Samsung GW1 primary sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and there is a 12MP (f/2.5) telephoto sensor with the support of 2x optical zoom. On the other hand, the Realme X3 SuperZoom also offers the same setup, however, on the main difference part, it has an 8MP (f/3.4) periscope lens that supports 5x optical zoom and the setup comes with preloaded Starry Mode.
Up-front, the x3 houses a dual punch-hole camera with 16MP (f/2.0) Sony IMX471 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The X3 SuperZoom variant includes a 32MP (f/2.5) Sony IMX616 primary sensor and an 8MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens dual punch-hole cameras.
Under the hood
Two phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM for X3 and 28GB of UFS 3.0 onboard storage with non-expandable capacity. The X3 SuperZoom provides up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The processor features a liquid cooling technology with a vapour tube of 8 millimeters diameter.
The phones also pack with the same 4,200mAh battery and support 30W Dart Flash Charge fast charging and runs Android 10 based on Realme UI. For connectivity, both the latest phones support dual-SIM (Nano), 4G, Bluetooth v5.0 chip, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The SuperZoom model supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio technologies.
Sensors onboard are an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.
Price in India and sale
The Realme X3 price starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant while the 8GB/128GB configuration comes with the price of Rs. 25,999. The X3 SuperZoom price starts in India at Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB/128GB storage and the 12GB 256GB option comes with the price tag of Rs. 32,999. Both handsets are available with Arctic White and Glacier Blue finish.
