Jio Glass launched with 3D holographic video call support – Details

Reliance Industries launched mixed reality smart glass at its 43 annual general meetings, known as Jio Glass. Jio Glass is also equipped with a virtual assistant. This glass comes with a cable. With the help of cable, you can connect it to your smartphone. According to Reliance this smart glass of Jio will give the best in class mixed reality experience and its weight just 75 grams.

The Jio Glass can make video calls

Jio has done a lot of work on the graphics of its smart glass and has ensured that the user gets the highest class visual experience. The demo was also shown during the event. Through the mixed reality smart glass, you can make video calls to two people simultaneously by speaking.

Moreover, this smart glass comes with 3D holographic video call support. That means you will be able to see you in the 3D form at the time of video call as well as the smart glass supports 25 apps also.

Over 50 lakh downloads of Jio Meat

In AGM, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani said that more than 50 lakh people have downloaded the Jiomet video conferencing app in a very short time after the launch. Let’s say that the Jiomeat app is a cloud-based video conferencing platform that can be used through both apps and desktops.

Big investment from Google

According to Mukesh Ambani Google will invest Rs 33737 crore for a 7.7 percent stake in Jio platforms. With Google’s investment, Reliance now has an investment figure of Rs 1.52 lakh crore. So far 14 companies have invested in Reliance Jio. Plus, Jio and search giant Google will together create the operating system for Android-based smartphones.
