OnePlus Nord v/s Galaxy A51 – Comparison


OnePlus has launched its most awaited affordable handset this week, the OnePlus Nord. We are going to make a comparison of 5 1 in OnePlus Nord v/s Galaxy. The OnePlus Nord comes with a dual selfie camera with a 90MHz refresh rate, a 48-megapixel primary rear camera, and an AMOLED display with 30T fast charging support. OnePlus Nord is a premium handset that has been launched at an affordable price. The Samsung Galaxy A5 1 and OnePlus Nord are tough competitors and have many of the same features. However, there are some differences between the two smartphones.

OnePlus Nord v/s Galaxy A51: Display comparison

Coming to the display, the OnePlus Nord has a 6.44 inch Full HD + Fluid AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection has been given for safety. The Samsung Galaxy A51 offers a 6.5-inch Full HD + Infinity-O Super AMOLED display.

Both phones processor and storage

The OnePlus Nord is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G processor with Adreno 620 GPU that has been given for graphics and 5G connectivity. At the same time, the Mali-G72 GPU has been given for the octa-core Exynos 9611 processor and graphics in the Galaxy A51.

Moving to storage and RAM, the Nord has been launched in 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage. On the other hand, Galaxy A51 has been made available in 6 GB RAM and 128GB storage and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

Camera sensors for both smartphones

The Nord has a 48-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor, 2-megapixel macro camera. The Galaxy A51 has a 48-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and 5-megapixel macro sensor.

Talking about the selfie camera, there is a dual front camera that has been given for selfies in OnePlus phone. The handset has 32 megapixel primary and 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lenses with Sony IMX616, while the Galaxy A51 has a 32-megapixel front camera with aperture f/2.2.

Operating System and Battery comparison

The Nord runs on Android 10 based Oxygen 10.5 OS and packs with a 4115mAh battery with 30T fast charging technology. However, Samsung Galaxy A51 comes with Samsung One UI 2.0 with Android 10 and provides a 4000mAh battery which supports 15 watts fast charging. For unlocking two devices get an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Finally the price between the two phones

The 6GB/ 64GB variant of Nord cost is Rs 24,999, the 8GB/128GB storage option comes at Rs 27,999 while the 12GB/256GB configuration price is Rs 29,999. On the other hand, the price of 6GB/ 128GB storage variant of Galaxy A51 is Rs 25,250 and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option has been launched for Rs 26,999.
