Infinix Smart 5 with 5,000mAh battery launched globally

Popular budget smartphone maker Infinix launched another smartphone today. The phone, named Infinix Smart 5, will be available in India and Nigeria soon. This is an entry-level phone which runs with Android 10 (Go edition). The special features of the Infinix Smart 5 are an IPS display, 5,000mAh battery, and triple rear cameras. However, the processor name is unknown as of now and it launched with a single storage option.

Infinix Smart 5: Design and display

A 6.6-inch Full HD Plus IPS display is offered on the smartphone and provides 720×1,600 pixels resolution. The design of the display is a V-shaped notch. Infinix uses a triple rear camera and an LED in this phone as well as there is a fingerprint sensor also. The Nigerian variant of the phone offers a dual rear camera.

Internals details of it

Unfortunately, the company has not informed of any specific processor used on the phone. However, you will get an Octa-Core processor with 1.8GHz clock speed. The device also paired with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage with expandable capacity up to 256GB. The Nigerian variant comes with a CPU clocked at 1.3GHz and 2GB RAM and 32GB storage with expandable capacity up to 128GB.

The phone runs with Android 10 (Go edition) and has a 5,000mAh battery with the support of 10W charging.

Camera sensor details

There are three cameras behind this phone for photography. The primary camera is a 13 megapixel with two QVGA sensors. There are also 8-megapixel selfie cameras with two LED flash in front of the phone. In Nigerian, it will be available with an 8-megapixel primary camera and a QVGA sensor on the rear.

Connectivity features are dual-SIM (Nano), 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, in Nigerian, the Infinix Smart 5 provides 3G connectivity.

Price of the smartphone

The Infinix Smart 5 globally price yet not announced by the company. But, it is listed on the infinixmobility.com website with Blue, Midnight Black, and Quetzal Cyan colors. On the other hand, the Nigerian variant comes with the price of NGN 39,500 (around Rs. 7,800) and available on the Nigerian website.
