Vivo S1 Prime has unveiled in Myanmar. This latest Vivo brand handset comes with a waterdrop notch style and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. The company also added a 4,500mAh battery. Specification wise the new phone quite similar to the Vivo S1 Pro launched in India in the month of January this year. However, only the selfie camera setup has been downgraded. In Vivo S1 Pro you will find four cameras in the diamond shape module and brings Jade Black and Nebula Blue color options.
Vivo S1 Prime: At a glance
As mentioned the smartphone launched with a waterdrop notch design having a selfie camera. In the behind of the device, it houses a diamond-shaped quad rear camera system along with an LED flash. The phone will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
Talking about display size the smartphone from Vivo has a 6.38-inch Full-HD+ (2340×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED FullView display with an aspect ratio of 19.5.9.
Works with Qualcomm processor
The smartphone has a single 8GB of RAM and inbuilt storage of 128GB with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. It runs on Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2 and includes a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The camera sensors
For photography, the device features a 48-megapixel (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens, two sensors of 2 megapixels (f/2.4), one for depth sensing and one for macro photography. The smartphone also has electronic image stabilization. There will also be a 16-megapixel (f/2.0) selfie camera inside the notch. The front camera is equipped with features like AI face beauty, HDR, AI portrait lightning, and group selfie.
As far as connectivity options it comes with a dual-SIM (Nano), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
Price and availability details
The price of Vivo S1 Prime is MYR 389,800 (about Rs 22,000) for the solo 8GB/128GB variant. But, Vivo has not mentioned anything about launching its phone in India at the moment.
