Motorola Razr 5G foldable phone priced around Rs. 1.02 lakhs

Motorola Razr 5G smartphone has released as the success of its Razr foldable phone launched last year. The phone is equipped with a plastic OLED primary display and a 48-megapixel primary camera. It has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which offers 5G connectivity. The device provides a single RAM and storage options and it will be available for the purchase with three color options. The battery of this phone is 2,800mAh with fast charging support.

Motorola Razr 5G: Design and display

The Motorola phone has a foldable 6.3-inch plastic OLED primary screen with a resolution of 2,142×876 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. The new foldable phone has an updated hinge design. Further, it has a secondary 2.7-inch glass OLED screen with a resolution of 600×800 pixels and an aspect ratio of 4:3.

The front flip panel above can easily see the phone notifications, quickly reply to the message, and do many things like using navigation through the secondary screen. It brings a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Camera sensor details

When it comes to the camera, the Motorola Razr 5G has a 48-megapixel (f/1.7) primary sensor. The sensor offers a Quad Pixel technology, which gives you better low-light sensitivity. In addition, it has an optical image stabilization (OIS) and laser autofocus technology. The camera is located at the top of the flip panel of the secondary screen, which allows users to use this camera to take selfies.

However, you will be able to take selfies only when the phone is folded. Motorola also added some camera modes, including a number of options such as group selfie, portrait mode, pott color.

For selfie photography, there is a 20-megapixel (f/2.2) camera which is located on the screen of the primary foldable phone with a notch design. Meanwhile, both cameras support full-HD videos @60fps or 30fps, slow-motion full HD videos @120fps and slow-motion HD video captures @240fps.

Snapdragon 765G chip

The Motorola Razr 5G is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 765G processor and Adreno 620 GPU. It offers 8GB of RAM and inbuilt storage of 256GB. The storage option cannot be increased.

The foldable phone runs on Android 10 with My UX and equipped with 2,800mAh, in which you will get the option of 15W TurboPower fast charging and provide a battery backup of up to 24 hours. When it comes to connectivity options, it can support 5G and 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Unfortunately, there is no headphone jack on this phone.

Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, magnetometer, Gyro, Barometer, Ultrasonic, Proximity, Ambient Light, and SAR.

Price and availability

Motorola Razr 5G foldable phone price is $1,399.99 (around Rs. 1.02 lakhs) for the single 8GB/256GB storage. It is available in the US with Blush Gold, Polished Graphite, and Liquid Mercury color options. The sale of this phone will first start in the selected market of China and Europe.
