HMD Global has introduced the Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 smartphones. Both the latest phones retain an HD+ display, while there are many differences; the Nokia 3.4 comes with triple rear cameras as well as a punch-hole display design. The Nokia 2.4, on the other hand, comes with a waterdrop-style display notch and has dual rear cameras. Along with this, HMD Global also announced the global availability of Nokia 8.3 5G. However, the phone will not be available in India at present.
Nokia 3.4: At a glance
The phone offers us a 6.39-inch HD+ (720×1,560 pixels) punch-hole display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 400 nits peak brightness. On the rear, it sports a triple rear camera along with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button also.
Available camera sensors
The Nokia 3.4 includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Inside the notch, it houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Octa-core Qualcomm processor
The handset is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, paired with 3GB and 4GB RAM and 32GB and 64GB storage options. Both storages can be expandable up to 512GB.
It runs on Android 10 OS and backed by the 4,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. In terms of connectivity features, the smartphone includes dual-SIM (Nano) slots, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, FM, USB Type-C port for charging, and 3.5mm jack for audio. In this phone, you will get an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.
Nokia 2.4: Specifications details
This handset brings a waterdrop notch design with a single selfie camera sensor. The backside oh it has a dual camera, a fingerprint sensor, and an LED flash. The company uses a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The dual rear camera comes with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Nokia 2.4 has a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor which is set inside the notch.
It equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, with 2GB and 3GB RAM and 32GB and 64GB storage variants. The storage can also be extended up to 512GB.
Like the 3.4 model, it also runs with the same OS and provided a 4,500mAh battery. The phone brings dual-SIM (Nano) slots, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
