Pixel 4a phone coming in India on October 17, announced by Google

Google Pixel 4a phone will be released in India on October 17 and will be available through Flipkart. Google itself has given this information through Twitter. To recall, the phone was originally introduced in early August and it may an upgrade version of Pixel 3a. Let us know that the company has also launched Google Pixel 4a 5G on 1st September. But this phone will be made available only in a few select markets, certainly, India is not included in those countries. At present, Google has not shared the price information of Pixel 4a.

Google shared on Twitter that the much-awaited Pixel 4a will be available in India from October 17 and will be available on Flipkart. Sadly, the price information on the phone was not shared in the tweet. However, in the US the phone was released with the starting price of $349 (about Rs 25,500).

The Google Pixel 4a provides a 5.81-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) OLED display with 19.5: 9 aspect ratios and a pixel density of 443 PPI. Plus, it has an Always-on display with HDR support.

The Pixel 4a carries a single 12-megapixel (f/1.7) rear camera sensor along with an LED flash as well. The rear camera supports HDR + support with dual exposure control, portrait mode, top shot, astrophotography capabilities with Night Sight, and fused video stabilization. It comes equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) to reduce the effect of normal shaking. For the selfie, the phone gets an 8-megapixel (f/2.0) camera sensor at the front.

The phone works on the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of non-expandable onboard storage. The Google phone runs on Android 11 OS.

Inside it has a 3,140mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and provides a USB Type-C adapter, which works with USB PD 2.0 (power delivery).

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone has stereo speakers and two microphones with noise suppression support.
