Mi 10T and 10T Pro to release in India on October 15 with 5G support

Mi 10T and 10T Pro smartphones will launch in the country on October 15. Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain has confirmed by sharing a Twitter post. To recall these two phones has released along with the Mi 10T Lite in the global market on the last day of September. However, this time Manu Kumar Jain hasn’t mentioned the Mi 10T Lite variant for India launches. Specifications wise, the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro phones are almost the same as they shared a punch-hole design along with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Mi 10T and 10T Pro: India launch event and expected price

According to the shared post, it is confirmed that both smartphones will launch on October 15 via an event that will start at 12 noon. However, the post didn’t hint about the Indian price details. In the global market, both phones launched at a price of EUR 499 (around Rs. 43,000) and EUR 599 (around Rs. 51,500) respectively. We can hope in India the two phones will come with a similar price tag.

If we go through the global market, then both smartphones include a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There is a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well.

Two Xiaomi devices are powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and the 10T model offers 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the other hand, the Pro model provides 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage options. Interestingly, both smartphones are coming to India with 5G connectivity.

Coming to the camera, the 10T variant has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. However, the Pro model gets a 108-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13-megapixel secondary camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. On the front, they shared the same a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

The two models also run on Android 10 with MIUI 12 and include a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
