Realme 7 5G announced as a rebadged by Realme V5 – Specs

Realme 7 5G smartphone has announced during a virtual event in the UK. There were speculations about this new Realme phone that it will be rebadged by Realme V5, which was launched in China in August. However, the Realme 7 5G comes with some differences, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U chip, an upgrade to the MediaTek Dimension 720 processor that was offered in the Realme V5. Apart from that, the new phone gets a 120Hz display, a quad rear camera system, and provides a punch-hole design.

Realme 7 5G price in UK and availability

The price of the Realme 7 5G is GBP 279 (about Rs 27,500) in the UK, the handset offers a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. As for color, you can get it with a Baltic Blue finish which can be purchased in the UK from 27 November through Amazon UK. Due to Black Friday Special Deal, you can buy it for GBP 229 (about Rs 22,500).

Realme 7 5G: Design and display

As mentioned the brand new Realme phone presents a punch-hole design. On the rear, you will see a quad-camera unit along with an LED flash. In this handset, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor. Besides, it has a 6.5-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 120Hz refresh rate and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. Plus, it brings a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio.

The 48-megapixel rear main sensor

The quad-camera system includes a 48-megapixel (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 119 degrees field of view (FoV). The setup also offers a macro lens and a monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Inside the cutout, it sports a 16-megapixel (f/2.1) camera sensor for selfies with Bokeh Effect, AI Beauty, HDR, and Super Nightscape features.

The rear camera offers preloaded features like Ultra 48MP Mode, Super Nightscape Mode, Tripod Mode, UIS Max Video Stabilization, and Cinema Mode.

Apart from this, this smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimension 800 U processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage option supports a microSD up to 256GB. The handset runs on Realme UI based on Android 10 and there is a 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge fast charging technology. This phone takes 65 minutes to charge 0 to 100%.

For connectivity, it includes dual-SIM (Nano) slots, 5G, 4 LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS / A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. It provides Dolby Atomus and Hi-Res audio technology as well.
