Samsung Galaxy A12 launched in India with quad cameras and more

Samsung Galaxy A12 launched in the country as the latest model of the company’s Galaxy A series. This smartphone has introduced in Europe in November 2020. The Galaxy A12 is a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A11. Talking about the key specifications of Galaxy A12, it is equipped with an Infinity-V Display, a single selfie camera, and a quad rear camera setup. The Samsung smartphone is powered by the Helio P35 SoC with a single RAM and two storage variants. The handset arrived with Black, Blue, and White color options.

Samsung Galaxy A12 price in India

The price of the Galaxy A12 starts at 12,999 for the 4GB/64GB storage variant. Its 4GB/128GB configuration price set at Rs 13,999. It can be purchased through Samsung.com and other online retail outlets, the sale will start on February 17.

Samsung Galaxy A12: Design and display

The Galaxy A12 from Samsung comes with a waterdrop notch style design for its front camera. The rear panel houses a quad rear camera setup and there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) TFT Infinity-V Display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The device contains a 48-megapixel (f/2.0) primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. The selfie camera comes with an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) sensor.

Powered by the MediaTek chipset

It is equipped with the MediaTek Helio P35 processor with 4GB of RAM and as much as 128GB of onboard storage that can expand via a microSD card (up to 1TB).

As for software, the phone runs on Android 10 with One UI Core 2.5 and packed with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. For connectivity, it supports dual-SIM (Nano), 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Available sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
